We Don’t Deliver Aid. We Train Power Builders.

She Builds Power trains women to lead water, food, and financial systems — transforming access into agency and building resilience that lasts.

The Problem Isn’t Effort. It’s Power.

Across East Africa, women carry the responsibility for water, food, and family survival — yet they are locked out of the systems that control them.

IMPACT STORY

“Helping women rise has lifted us all.”

Annet Nakamya, a mother of five in Uganda, once walked miles for water. Through She Builds Power, she learned to build water tanks, grow mushrooms, and make soap.

Today, she earns income selling water and food, trains other women, and serves as a local councilor — proving that when women gain skills, entire communities rise.

“When I started selling soap, my income increased enough for me to return to school and later join university. What I earned before could never do that.”
